On Track display featured in the Rotunda of Capitol Hill
The United States Senate invited the Alzheimer Poetry Project to create an informational display of art therapies in the beautiful Rotunda of the Capitol building. Its purpose was to educate Senators on the successes currently being experienced by organizations helping those with dementia through poetry, performance, and other forms of art. On Track was proud to be chosen to art direct and design the identity and the entire display, as well as install it. The number of approvals required to display anything in the Senate building is staggering, and we helped Dementia Arts navigate and meet the protocols of the Senate Staff. The event was a huge success.
The Alzheimer Poetry Project is a groundbreaking organization that has demonstrated real and joyful results in working with people who suffer from the Alzheimer?s disease and other related dementia. Caregivers watch their patients get access to memory through the use of poetry.
