Our players are first students,
then athletes. They meet academic expectations which surpass those
required by our membership in the Illinois High School Association.
Peace offers a complete athletic program, and invites prospective
athletes to participate in an extensive summer camp program for fourth
through eighth graders. Once a student enrolls at Peace, she is eligible
to try out for volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, track and
field, cross country and tennis and she is welcome to
compete in more than one sport.
Peace athletes reap the benefits of quality facilities, membership
in a competitive conference, and dedicated coaches who care. Our teams
are ranked consistently in the Red Division, the most competitive
of the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference. We are also well-represented
on Divisional, Conference and All-Area All-Star teams. Peace athletes
have been recognized for superior achievement through scholarships
and awards from a wide variety of colleges and universities.
